Our Mission
Casey's Safety
Nest Foundation is readily available to support responsible and ethical
breeders and owners who practice the best standards of care for the
needs of all birds, tame and wild.
We are dedicated to the healthy nurturing and enrichment of the life of
each and every bird we come into contact with.
We understand that birds are living, breathing animals and develop bonds
with their human caretakers. With this knowledge in mind, we are
dedicated to do all possible to help keep a responsible human and their
avian friends together through education and any other possible avenues.
When this is not possible, we will strive to find the best home
available for the bird. Initially, most birds that enter our program
will be placed in pre-approved foster homes until permanent placement is
found . Each bird will be evaluated by staff and/or a certified avian
vet when it is deemed necessary. All birds will also go through an
initial quarantine period of not less than 30 days.
We wish to work with the community to help educate and assist in proper
care and to keep the health and dignity of the avian intact. It is our
prayer that each and every pet bird have a happy healthy environment for
the rest of their lives.
